Youth Pastor – Trevor Waycaster
Youth Pastor Trevor Waycaster has served as the Youth Pastor at Harmony since February 2021. He answered the call to preach on June 18, 2020. He has loved every moment of serving the next generation. His heart is to plant seeds of courage and faith in young people – encouraging them to live without fear, to follow the Lord wholeheartedly, and build a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Trevor and his wife Macy, have been married for six years and were blessed with their daughter Lottie in March of 2023. Together they share a passion for ministry. Macy serves alongside Trevor in the youth ministry, helping to teach the younger children, and the could also serves faithfully in the church’s van ministry.
Outside of church, the Waycaster’s enjoy supporting local high school and youth sports cheering on the church kiddos from the sidelines. Trevor also serves the community as the Chaplin and Safety Officer of the Roan Mountain Fire Department, where he has served in various capacities for ten years.
Trevor’s favorite verse is Psalm 150:2 “Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness” His life and ministry reflect this verse daily as he strives to glorify God through service, worship, and leadership.
